Two Clare towns have recorded the highest commercial vacancy rates in all of Munster.
A new study on commercial property carried out by GeoDirectory has found that across the country, vacancy rates increased by point one percent to 13.6% in the year to June, however Clare’s overall rate is higher than this at 15.2%.
Kilrush recorded the highest rate of empty units in both this county and in Munster at 25.9%, followed by Shannon on 23.9%, with Ennis also seeing a rise to 18.2%.
