Progress is being made on plans to reopen a Loop Head Gaelcholáiste on a full time year round basis.
Coláiste Eoghain Uí Chomhraidhe is currently seeking funding through Clare County Council to refurbish the site and turn it into a hub for local heritage and cultural activities.
The Carrigaholt Coláiste is currently closed due as a result of fire and safety regulations which require a significant upgrade of the facility.
