Plans Afoot For New €1.7 Million Visitor Experience At Kilrush’s Vandeleur Gardens

Plans are afoot for a €1.7 million new state-of-the-art visitor experience at the Vandeleur Walled Garden Centre in Kilrush.

Funding has been approved under the government’s Rural Regeneration and Development Fund and the plans have received the formal endorsement of Clare County Council.

The project will see the derelict former stables of Kilrush House, which was destroyed by fire in the 1890s, transformed into a new visitor experience comprising a museum, shop and more.
