A North Clare Councillor is hopeful that a final enhancement plan for Corofin will be finalised within six months.
The second public consultation on the draft Corofin Property Feasibility and Streetscape Enhancement Plan takes place this afternoon from 4pm until 7pm in the community hall.
The plan includes suggestions to target St. Catherine’s Church, Riverview house and to build a car park between the community hall and the national school and a plaza in front of the workhouse building.

Fianna Fáil Councillor from Corofin, Joe Killeen, is encouraging locals to have their say and insists that ensuring the plan is ‘shovel ready’ will help in securing funding.
