Businesses in and around the county town are hoping for a boost in their trade this weekend as thousands attend the Ennis Book Club Festival.
The annual event is continuing today and will finish up tomorrow, with around 5,000 people in attendance, about half of whom are from outside of the county.
Dozens of events are being held right around the town, with the aim of promoting and celebrating reading.
