The Chief Medical Officer is to launch a newly published book of poems by pupils at a South East Clare primary school today.
Dr Tony Holohan will attend Scoil na Maighdine Mhuire in Newmarket-on-Fergus this afternoon to officially unveil ‘Covid Voices: Third Class pupils reflect’.
The book is said to encompass a unique collection of children’s reflections, thoughts and art work about the pandemic, with proceeds going towards the Red Cross’ Ukraine Appeal.
