Clare Postmaster Says Viability Of Network Coming Into Question Ahead Of Emergency Meeting

A North Clare postmaster says the viability of the whole post office network is to come into question over the next number of years.

The Irish Postmasters Union’s members are holding an emergency meeting this evening to consider balloting for industrial action.

They’re expressing concerns over what they say is a lack of investment in the postal service, and planned changes to postal orders and foreign exchange services.
