Clare Gardaí are pleading with motorists to treat each and every road journey with equal respect.
So far this year a total of 125 people have lost their lives on Irish roads, which is a 24% increase on the number of fatalities recorded at this juncture of 2022.
In the last week alone, the country has been brought to a standstill following the tragic deaths of 10 people in separate road traffic collisions in Tipperary, Offaly, Donegal , Dublin and Laois.
