21 White-taled Eagles Released Into Wild At Lough Derg And Three Other Munster Sites

21 White-tailed Eagles chicks have been released into the wild at four sites in Munster.

The National Parks and Wildlife Service says they took flight to bolster Ireland’s existing population of the bird.

They were released into the wild at four Munster sites at Lough Derg, on the Shannon Estuary, Waterford and in Killarney National Park.
