Current St. Joseph’s Hospital Likely To Still Be Used After New Facility Opens

It’s likely that medical services will continue to be provided at St. Joseph’s in Ennis, even after the opening of a new elder care facility to replace it.

The HSE has confirmed to Clare FM that it expects to be in a position to confirm details of the site for a planned €25 million new 100-bed elder care facility before the end of the year.

The unit is scheduled to be built by the end of 2021.
