A young man who lost his life in a road crash in Clare in the early hours of yesterday morning, has been named locally.
18-year-old John Daly died after the car he was travelling in collided with a rail level-crossing at Cratloekeel, near Cratloe, just before 3am.

He was travelling alone in the car at the time.
Cratloe Fianna Fáil Councillor Pat O’Gorman has been telling Clare FM’s Fiona Cahill that the entire community is in shock.
