Councillors Moves To Calm Fury Over Blake’s Corner Plans

A West Clare Councillor has moved to calm the waters over plans to tackle traffic congestion at Blake's Corner in Ennistymon. 

Residents in the town say they're angry  at plans by Clare County Council to demolish three homes and build a new Inner Relief Road and bridge in a bid to protect the infamous bottle neck.

Residents have organised a public meeting for tonight at 7.30 in the Falls hotel. 

However Fianna Fáil Cllr PJ Kelly says nothing has been finalised as of yet.
