Clare County Council says it's still waiting for government funding to pay for storm repairs in Kilkee.
While the local authority has been given €16.8 million to cover the cost of works along the county's coast, this doesn't include the West Clare seaside town because it suffered damage in one of the later storms on February 1st.

Residents and businesspeople have been critical of the pace of repairs, and fear it could hamper trade during the forthcoming season.
However, Senior Council Engineer Tom Tiernan has told Clare FM works will start soon.
