Shannon Group has confirmed that a number of staff will be temporarily laid off at the end of August as some of their facilities operating under Shannon Heritage will shut until 2021.
Bunratty Castle & Folk Park and King John’s Castle will reopen for a six week period from July 20th, but will then shut their doors for the remainder of the year.
The group’s retail outlet at the Cliffs of Moher will reopen in consultation with Clare County Council but all other operations in Clare, including Craggaunowen and Knappogue, will remain closed.
