“Nightmare Before Christmas” For Hospitality Sector As Restrictions Come Into Place

The Clare Chair of the Vitners Federation of Ireland has described restrictions imposed on the hospitality sector as a “nightmare before Christmas”.

It comes as pubs, clubs, theatres and cinemas must close their doors at 8pm from today, as part of efforts to mitigate the spread of the Omicron strain of Covid-19.

Charlie O’ Meara is calling for supports for to be made available to businesses within the sector that have been hit particularly hard, without delay.
