Ennis-based Retail Lobby Group Described Removal Of Mask Law As Step In Right Direction

An Ennis-based retail lobby group has described the removal of laws around mask wearing as a step in the right direction.

From today, face coverings are no longer compulsory in shops, public transport or in schools, a move which Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has said marks another milestone in out pathway out of the pandemic.

Retail Excellence says it’s been challenging time for the sector and believes the change to the rule is a positive move.
