Community Groups To Benefit COVID-19 Funding

73 thousand euro in funding has been announced for community and voluntary groups throughout Clare, under a Covid-19 Emergency Fund.

21 groups will share the money, which is being administered by the Clare Local Community Development Committee.

It says that it received 26 different applications for funding, with the amounts sought exceeding the available funding by 250%.

Chair of the Clare LCDC Andrew Dundas said that applications for grants far exceeded the funding available but that every application received at least a small amount.
