Clare Mayor Welcomes €40 Million Grant For Community Sector And Charities

The Mayor of Clare has welcomed the announcement of a €40 million grant aimed to support the COVID-19 response of community and voluntary organisations.

Grants of up to 100,000 euro will be available to organisations providing frontline services since before Jan 2019, who have projected losses as a direct result of the pandemic, or are in need of supports to meet operational costs.

Clare County Council’s team of Rural and Community Development Officers will work, in each Municipal District, to support local community groups’ applications.
