Calls For Outline Of Resumption Of Driving Tests

The Minister for Transport is being called on to outline a plan for the resumption of driving tests in Clare.

Figures from the Road Safety Authority show there are almost 1,200 people waiting for a driving test across 3 test centres in the county; 719 of those in Ennis, 303 in Shannon and 174 in Kilrush.

Currently motorcycle, truck and bus driving tests are due to return in phase three of the government’s roadmap while car testing is due to resume in phase four.
