Just over two thousand workers across Clare have signed up for the Pandemic Unemployment Payment since the country moved to level five restrictions.
7,494 people in Clare are receiving the state support, an increase of 132 in the past week and a rise of 2,001 since the last week of October.
Just 67 people in Clare closed their claim and returned to work over the past seven days.
