The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that a total of 27 people with COVID-19 have died.
It brings to 1,429, the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland.
The HPSC has been notified of 156 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total in Ireland to 22,541.

18 more cases have been announced in Clare, bringing the total to 299.
The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
