A young Irish student has died following a swimming accident in the US last week.
22-year-old Philip Leahy from Ballyhooly in County Cork suffered a cardiac arrest as he was rescued from the water at Ocean City, Maryland last Wednesday.

He passed away last night after spending the past number of days on life support.
A crowdfunding page has raised over 92,000 euro to support his family.
