Construction is underway on the Ennis Market Rejuvenation Project, which will deliver a new covered building for market traders in Ennis town centre by July 2016.

Phase One of the development at Garraunakilla, the site of the Farmer's Market, also features significant expenditure on the upgrading of public infrastructure surrounding the site.
The 1.4 million euro project includes a covered building for traders, parking, roads and footpaths, the upgrading of existing public roadways, site lighting, street furniture, the demolition of the existing structures, and landscaping and planting.
There'll be disruption to traffic over the next seven months with diversions clearly signposted.
