Concern is being expressed about the length of time it’s taking to appoint a specialist MS nurse for the region’s main hospital.

Senator Maria Byrne has outlined her concerns to Junior Health Minister Jim Daly in the Seanad, saying it’s of serious concern to those living with multiple sclerosis in this region.

The Minister insists the appointment of a neurology clinical nurse specialist for the UL Hospital Group will have progressed significantly by the end of the year
