It’s feared people in Clare could be criminalised for voicing their opinions on something as simple as turf policy if “vague” legislation is passed.

Legislation introduced last December provides for increased prison sentences for crimes proven to be motivated by hatred under the characteristics of race, colour, nationality, religion, origin, descent, disability, gender or sexual orientation.
