Clare’s Independent TD has moved to allay fears over the availability of medicine in Ireland post-Brexit.
It follows a significant rise in the number of drugs deemed to be short in supply in England, up from 45 in October to 80 now.

While here at home, the Health Minister has urged people not to stockpile medication ahead of the expected Brexit date, out of fear of a hard exit.
Dr Michael Harty, who is chair of the Oireachtas Health Committee, belives there are other areas of more concern than medicine and he’s urging people not to panic:
