Clare’s Fianna Fáíl TD is calling for urgent intervention to prevent a new trend of photo-stop tourism from exploiting the county’s most prominent destinations.
It comes amid growing reports from local retailers and communities alike that bus loads of passengers are now pulling in at the road side to capture images without visiting landmarks or contributing to the economy.

The Cliffs Of Moher alone attracted more than 1.1 million visitors last year.
