The Clare branch of Saint Vincent de Paul says there’s “no doubt” that vulnerable people will be driven further into property without targeted supports in the Budget.
It follows confirmation from Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe that electricity credits won’t be included in Budget 2026.

Figures released earlier this year found that over 400,000 households are currently in energy arrears in Ireland.
