The Clare-area President of St Vincent De Paul is reassuring students of all ages who are struggling to access or stay in third level education or training programmes that help is available.
Every year, the society of St Vincent De Paul works closely with students to support their access to further and higher education and training opportunities, through a special bursary.
The bursary, which is based on a needs assessment and is subject to availability of funding, helped 61 people to access education last year and the Clare SVP President anticipates even more demand this year.
Denis Carty believes education is vital to the creation of an individual’s life options and opportunities.
