Clare Pyrite Action Group Say Protests Are ‘The Next Step’ To Redress Access

The Clare Chair of the Pyrite Action Group says they intend to take to the streets and protest delays in them being included in the Defective Concrete Blocks Scheme.

The Department of Housing has asked Clare County Council for further information on the impact of the presence of pyrite on the structure of the concerned properties.

Housing Minister Darragh O’ Brien had previously committed to a decision on redress access ‘within weeks’ when he visited Clare in the summer.
