A Clare pub is rallying behind a cancer survivor in his attempt to raise vital funds for charity.
Dave McGrath, who was diagnosed with brain cancer and Crohn’s in the space of three years, has just began a walk from Shannon to Derry, having previously completed a similar venture from Dublin to Dingle.

To support his initiative, the Monk’s Well in Quin will host a fundraiser gig this evening at 8pm with all money raised donated to charity.
Dave says the support of the local community has made him feel as though he was returning home.
