A Clare Politics Professor claims the fact that the US is disengaging from supporting Ukraine leaves it in an unenviable and vulnerable position.
It comes as US and Russian negotiators are meeting in Saudi Arabia today for discussions aimed at agreeing a possible ceasefire deal with the war-torn country, more than three years after the conflict began when Russian forces invaded.
