A Liscannor woman who is recovering from a double transplant is highlighting the importance of joining the donor register, this Organ Donor Awareness Week.
Áine Mae O’Mahony lost her sight over ten years ago because of her diabetes and after years of dialysis, had a kidney and pancreas transplant last year.
Organ Donor Awareness Week runs until April 7th and aims to get more people signed up to carry a donor card with them.
