Clare People Urged To Contribute To Local Economy Over Christmas

The people of Clare are being encouraged to spend money locally over the Christmas period.

It follows reports that more and more residents of the county are choosing to do their shopping in Limerick or Galway due to concerns such as parking, public transport and variety of retailers.

Online shopping is also posing a threat to local business, with 81% of Irish consumers admitting to shopping online last year which was up two percentage points on the previous year.
