Clare people are looking forward to the first Christmas in three years without Covid-19 restrictions.
In 2020, Ireland entered a level 5 lockdown on Christmas Eve, with limitations on gatherings, inter-county travel and people encouraged to stay at home.

In 2021, a host of restrictions were introduced on December 20th, including an 8pm closing time for the hospitality sector and a halving of capacity at indoor events.
These people have been telling Clare FM what they’re most looking forward to about a return to normal Christmas festivities.
