Clare People Given Opportunity To Help Gambian Children Access Education With Unwanted Bikes Initiative

Clare people are being given the opportunity to help children in the Gambia to access education while helping to rehabilitate prisoners here at home.

Clare County Council, in conjunction with Ennis Rotary Club, have brought the Rotary Ireland School Bikes Africa project to this county.

Members of the public can bring their unwanted bikes to Inagh’s Waste Management Facility – from there, they will be refurbished by prisoners in Wicklow, before being shipped to Africa to be distributed to school children.
