A Clare Meals on Wheels organisation says it’s doing everything it can to ensure none of their service users go without a meal amid the ongoing protests.
Obair in Newmarket on Fergus currently has 12 vans in operation delivering all over the county, and remains optimisic of completing all deliveries by the end of the week.

A contingency plan has been put in place, with four electric vans allowing for drop offs to be completed later in the afternoon if neccessary.
Obair Service Coordinator, Eimear Murphy, says to date, no service user has gone without a meal.
