Clare Marts Ltd. say there has been no change with regards to the mart in Ennistymon.
In a statement to Clare FM, a spokesperson has said that the mart site in Ennistymon is sold, subject to planning, and that this was confirmed to a delegation from Ennistymon at a meeting in February.

Clare Marts Ltd. also says that livestock sales at Ennistymon will continue as normal pending a determination in relation to planning.
Last week, the executive of the Ennistymon IFA branch resigned their positions en masse, saying they're very concerned at the rumoured sale of the facility to Aldi and what they perceive to be a lack of information.
