A Clare man living with epilepsy from childhood believes people need to “learn to understand it.”
Over 45,000 people across the country living with the condition and reserach shows up to 70% can become seizure free once diagnosed and the right treatment is identified.

Today marks International Epilepsy Day and to mark the occasion, Epilepsy Ireland have launched the Time, Safe, Stay campaign with a song helping the public learn how to respond calmly and correctly to a seizure.
Meelick man, Tommy Cassidy, says support from loved ones is key.
