A Clare man says a strong support network and a passion for music were crucial for his recovery from a drug addiction which lasted more than two decades.
Darragh O’Loughlin from Shannon struggled with addiction for 25 years, which began with solvent misuse as a teenager before it graduated to cocaine and heroin use.

Four years ago he survived a major heroin overdose before entering rehab in Cuan Mhuire.
Darragh has been telling Clare FM’s Morning Focus says his family were the driving force behind him getting a second chance at life.
