Clare is the least lucky county in the MidWest when it comes to winning the Lotto.
Figures revealed by the National Lottery show that the jackpot has been won in the Banner county some 40 times – with prize money totalling €60 million brought in.

This falls below Tipperary and Limerick, where funds of €85 million and €74 million respectively have been won by Lotto players.
Unsurprisingly, the county with most wins was Dublin, where 572 winners have won a combined €856 million.
The figures have been released by the National Lottery ahead of their landmark 3000th Lotto draw tonight.
