Clare Labour Seeking Improved Health Services In The County For The Growing Population

The Chair of the Labour Party in Clare has argued that the rise in the county’s population as seen in the census demonstrates the need for improved health services.

Clare’s population has seen an 8% increase since 2016 with 127,938 people now residing in the county.

Notably, figures from the census show that the number of people aged 65 in the county has risen by 23% since the last census which had led to calls for the health system in the region to be ramped up.
