Clare Immigrant Support Centre Says Support Needed So Demands On Services Can ‘Steady Down’

Clare’s Immigrant Support Centre Co-Ordinator says further supports are needed to ensure the demand for the services can ‘steady down’ over the coming weeks.

It’s after Taoiseach Micheál Martin said the Government would consider any ask from Clare County Council for funding to assist accommodating Ukrainian refugees when he met the country’s Prime Minister at Shannon Airport yesterday.

Hotel rooms across the country, including in Clare, are understood to be near capacity, with a shortage of accommodation anticipated by the end of next week.
