Clare IFA Chair Calls On Farmers To Report Rural Theft

The Clare Chair of the Irish Farmers Association is calling on farmers to report rural crime.

It follows a sruvey of over 13 hundred farmers carried by TU Dublin which found 55 percent were the victims of theft.

However 29 per cent of those affected didn’t report incidents of stolen equipment, machinery and livestock to the Gardai.
