Clare homeowners typically insure the contents of their home at just under 38 thousand euro.
That’s according to research from AA Home Insurance, who have found the usual figures here are 8,500 euro less than in Wicklow, which has the highest average amount.
The company is advising homeowners to think carefully about the value they choose for their contents.
