Clare Homeless Figures “Shocking”

Soaring levels of homelessness in Clare have been described as shocking.

The latest figures from the Department of Housing have revealed the number of children without a home in the Mid West in August rose by 80 per cent in just a month to 147.

There were also 352 adults in the same position at the end of that month, 43 of those in Clare alone, with the Mid West experiencing the highest level of homelessness outside the capital.
