Clare Hauliers say fears have been allieviated following assurances by the Transport minister that no Irish driver will be prosecuted over the worsening situation in Calais.

It follows a meeting between the The Irish Road Hauliage Association and Pachal O'Donoghoe this week where representatives outlined their concerns over the extreme situation at the French port.
Minister O'Donoghue has committed to working with the industry to come up with safer conditions for drivers and their goods.
Bunratty-based haulier and former President of the IRHA, Eoin Gavin says the issue of fines has also been addressed.
