Gardaí are advising motorists to wake up to driver fatigue as the Easter bank holiday comes to a close.
Today is the busiest day of the weekend on the roads, with many people who were away visiting family and friends over the past number of days returning home.
The Road Safety Authority says drivers suffering from fatigue are substantially increasing the risk of becoming involved in a crash.
