Clare Gardaí have seized two vehicles in the early hours of National Slow Down Day.
During one speed check in Ennis , a Ford Focus was stopped travelling at 66km/h in a 50 zone.

It subsequently emerged that the car was uninsured.
Another motorist was also clocked driving 69KM/h in the same 50 zone , and was found to be a disqualified driver.
