Gardaí have seized a vehicle with an illegal light fitting on the outskirts of Clarecastle.
During a patrol today, Gardaí stopped a Nissan Qashqai with a blue lighting strip fitted above its grille and headlights on the N85 dual-carriageway .

It later emerged the vehicle was being driven by an uninsured and unaccompanied learner driver.
The motorist will face court at a later date.
